Halloween 2020: Home Decor Ideas To Celebrate Halloween This Year
With COVID-19 restrictions getting tighter all over the UK, with many unable to mix households, Halloween 2020 is not going to be the same as in previous years. But that doesn't mean that Halloween this year needs to be cancelled! We may not be able to roam the streets in groups, trick or treating or attend Halloween house parties, but we can definitely bring the fun into our homes and bring a little cheer in these difficult times.
So we decided to share some Home Halloween ideas to transform your house and keep the magic alive this year.
Get Creative With Pumpkins
Pumpkin carving has long been a Halloween favourite with many households in the UK displaying their hollow pumpkins on their doorsteps, inviting children for a trick or treat. So this year instead of inviting people to your home, add some fun and creative carvings to make your street the spookiest on the block and encourage everybody to admire your skills from afar?
With kids off school at the moment and lockdown measures making it hard for parents to keep them entertained. Use Halloween as a way to kickstart your kid's imaginations and carve some unique designs. Go for a haunted house, or a flying witch alongside the traditional Jack-o-lantern and make 2020 a year of fun.
Don't forget! You can use the insides of your pumpkins to make some delicious recipes. So don't waste your pumpkins.

Paint your Windows!
With trick or treating likely to be cancelled this year or very limited, many households are partaking in a neighbourhood window display similar to the Rainbow for the NHS. This is an attempt to encourage children to go outside on walks admiring the different drawings and boost community spirit.
Get your paint brushes out with some easy wash paint and have some family fun time creating a Halloween display for the whole neighbourhood to enjoy.

Decorate Your Interiors!
There is no better way to delve into the Halloween spirit than to transform your home into a haunted house. Add fake cobwebs into corners and along the walls or invest in some Halloween coloured candles to create a spooky atmosphere.

Jump on the Halloween Xmas Tree Trend
2020 has been a difficult year for everyone, so many people have been looking at ways to bring joy and happiness into our everyday lives to keep positivity alive. One idea that has been catching on is the idea of putting up of Christmas decorations early to spread the holiday cheer. So it was only natural that the Halloween Xmas Tree was born.
So get out your tree and start decorating in shades of orange, black and white for a Halloween centrepiece to make even the Addams Family green with envy!
