Originally designed by William Morris as a wallpaper in1887 and adapted for fabric in 1895, this iconic pattern from the William Morris Gallery’s collection of earlier printed chintz and wallpaper lengths, has been recoloured for bedding in soft shades of sage green and powder blue and printed onto a luxuriously soft cotton muslin fabric. With a subtle texture and finished with a complimentary cotton fringing. Morris’ small-scale Christchurch pattern of flowering bramble branches against a dotted background decorates the reverse, printed on a crisp, 200 thread count cotton percale.
